    How to Turn Off Pop Up Blocking in Norton

     

    Norton Anti Virus 2005-2006

    a)      In the taskbar, at the bottom of the screen, please click on the icon of the yellow sphere to open Norton.  The status (on or off) of Pop-up/Ad Blocking is displayed on the Norton Anti-Spam interface)

    b)  To disable Pop-Up Blocking, in the main window, on the left side, click Norton     Anti-Spam.  Click Pop-up Blocking and Turn Off.

    c)  To disable Ad Blocking, in the main window, on the left side, click Norton Anti-     Spam.  Click Ad Blocking and turn Off. (Note, in most cases, just turning off the Pop-up Blocker will work)

     

    Norton Anti Virus 2004 and earlier

    a)  In the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, click on the icon of the globe to open Norton

    b)  To disable Ad Blocking or Pop-up Blocking: In the main window, double-click Ad blocking.  Uncheck Ad Blocking.  Uncheck Pop-up Window Blocking. Click OK

     

    You must clear the IE Browser’s cache for the changes to work

    a)  Start Internet Explorer

    b)  Click “Tools”, then “Internet Options”

    c)  Click “Delete Files” When you see the prompt “Delete offline content” click “OK”

    d)  Please do the same for “Delete Cookies”

    e) Click OK

    f)  Please reboot your computer at this time
